Application Akzentz Products

Preparation and adhesion promoter:
Prep'n'Wipe is both a nail disinfectant and a cleaner in one
Sure Bond is a disinfecting and dehydrating liquid that can be applied before the adhesive gel, for example on very greasy nails
Affixit is a liquid adhesion promoter for better adhesion before applying an adhesion gel. Does not require curing
Adhere is a classic adhesion gel that is applied after Affixit and before modeling gel. Harden, do not wipe sweat layer
X-Bond is an adhesive gel in a bottle, which can also be used for LUXIO Gellack as it can be removed
Opti-Bond is a classic soak off adhesion gel in a jar
Primer Pen is an acidic adhesive pen that can be used in place of the Affixit for very severe adhesion problems, before the adhesive gel
For the usual cases, applying Affixit and Adhere is sufficient. In the case of problem nails, an alternative adhesion gel is sometimes required, for example X-Bond instead of Adhere.

Thin viscous modeling gel:
Trinity Gels are self-smoothing, medium to thin viscosity modeling gels that require little to no filing work. Practice is necessary, otherwise the gel may run. Curing time 30 seconds with Akzéntz Hybrid LED lamp. No longer require a sealer once the gel has been cured long enough.
Trinity Shades Gels are colored modeling gels with the same viscosity as the Trinity Gels mentioned above. However, they are not make-up gels, but give the nail a shade. No longer require a sealer once the gel has been cured long enough.
Pro Formance Enhance Gels are self-smoothing, medium to thin viscosity modeling gels that require little to no filing work. Practice is necessary, otherwise the gel may run. Slightly creamier consistency than Trinity, therefore more suitable for beginners. Available in clear or translucent pink. Curing time 30 seconds with Akzéntz Hybrid LED lamp. Need sealer.

Medium to thick viscosity modeling gels:
Balance Clear is an ideal gel also for extending nails directly on the template as it doesn't run at all. It can be worked in two steps, e.g. first modeling and curing the extension with Balance (30 sec. with Akzéntz Hybrid lamp) and then smoothing out the "waves" with Trinity or Enhance.
Balance Coverage Warm Pink is an opaque make-up gel in a light shade of pink with the same consistency as Balance Clear. Excellent for French nails, when the French on top is applied, gives a very nice contrast. Hardening time more like 60 seconds, so that the gel is hardened well due to its color pigments.
Balance Coverage Cool Pink is an opaque make-up gel in a cooler shade of pink, same consistency as Balance Clear. Excellent for baby boomer nails (prettier than warm pink in our opinion). Hardening time more like 60 seconds, so that the gel is hardened well due to its color pigments.

Thick viscous modeling gel:
Structure is a thick viscous builder gel, suitable for very long extensions on a template, or for very flat or upwardly growing nails to fill in the hollow. Very stable. It is also possible to even out crooked nails or missing corners without using a stencil by pulling the gel in the right direction with the brush. Curing time at least 30 seconds with Akzéntz Hybrid lamp.

French gels for integrated French and baby boomers:
Control Natural White Gel is a not-too-white French Gel that is applied under the build-up. It can be applied directly to the stencil if you apply it very thinly in a first layer. For fill-in treatments, file off gel first and apply Control Natural White after adhesive gel, before modeling gel. Trace the smile line with a clean brush. Then cover with the desired modeling gel. Also very suitable for baby boomers.
Control Ultra White Gel is a bright white French gel that is applied under the build-up. It is not recommended to apply it directly onto stencil as the underside will cure too little well. For fill-in treatments, file off gel first and apply Control Natural White after adhesive gel, before modeling gel. Trace the smile line with a clean brush. Then cover with the desired modeling gel. Also very suitable for baby boomers.
Please note that Akzéntz Classic UV Gels are no longer manufactured. Take advantage of the reduced prices. Only while stocks last!

Paint-on French Gel:
We recommend the Luxio Pure, or the MO Nails Line It Gel White.
Soak Off modeling gels:
The Options Crystal Clear Gel is a soak off modeling gel and therefore more flexible and removable (but very time consuming).
Akzéntz sealer gels:
The Pro Formance Ultra Gloss is a sealer, which has to be applied with a brush made of real hair. Curing time at least 30 seconds with Akzéntz Hybrid lamp. It has the advantage that it is more scratch-resistant than e.g. Shine On and the shine lasts longer and does not become dull as quickly. With sweat layer, which has to be wiped off with Prep'n'Wipe at the end.
Shine On is a quick sealer in a bottle with no sweat layer. Extreme high gloss, great product when it has to be done quickly! 30 seconds curing time.
Akzéntz Matte On is a matt sealer, the layer of sweat has to be wiped off at the end. Curing time 30 seconds.
Luxio Gloss is a soak off sealer with a sweat layer, which makes sense especially for the gel varnish technique if it is to be removed. Curing time at least 30 seconds with Akzéntz Hybrid lamp.

Akzéntz gel polish technique:
Disinfect with Prep'n'Wipe
For problem nails, apply X-Bond as adhesion gel, otherwise apply LUXIO Base Gel directly and harden for at least 30 seconds. Wipe off the sweat layer, can be painted more beautifully!
Apply 2 x desired color - MO Nails colors can also be combined with LUXIO products! DO NOT wipe away sweat layer after paint has cured. Cure color for 30 seconds with Akzéntz Hybrid lamp.
Seal with LUXIO Gloss, at least 30 seconds curing time. Wipe off sweat layer with Prep'n'Wipe.
For an easy build-up, LUXIO Build can be applied after the base and before the color, e.g. to fill in waves or hollows. Curing time 30 seconds.
